CURATING SOBER SPACES FOR SAPPHIC CONNECTIONS
Lez Get Together is on a mission to curate spaces beyond the bar scene. We are expanding our community's options for gathering by designing booze-free spaces where friendship, connection, and community are at the forefront.
As queer people, there are not a lot of queer spaces for us. When you narrow it down to being a sapphic person, the number of spaces becomes even smaller. For example, there are only 2 lesbian bars in the city of Chicago and 21 nationwide. Although these spaces have been historically integral to our community, it's time we imagine a world where the spaces we gather in transgress bounds.
